Ashlyn was a great fit for us in the search for our first home in Seattle.
When we were first referred to Ashyln we spoke on the phone for about an hour. During that conversation she asked thoughtful and thought provoking questions that we hadn't considered yet to really get an understanding of what we were looking for. Her general knowledge and approach to the Seattle market really left a great impression on me. I felt assured that not only does Ashlyn know the market very well, she knows how to compete and win in this market. I was also worried we'd spend months looking and bidding for different homes before we got one. Luckily, within a few weeks of searching for properties we were able to find one we really loved and get it under contract! We couldn't believe it. It literally checked off all our boxes for what we want and Ashlyn was able to negotiate it under listing price! Not to mention that it was the first home we bid on! In addition, one concern we had going into this process was that we've heard that many contingencies get waived in Seattle. Ashyln was able to negotiate an inspection and financing contingency which was great because it really made us feel safe about this home purchase! Once the offer was accepted Ashyln sent us the events that needed to occur with the timeframe before we could close. It was really helpful seeing the full processes laid out clearly in front of us. As we moved forward in the process Ashyln made sure we understood each step and answered any questions we had. We contracted with Ashlyn to help us sell and buy a property, as my wife and I were looking to downsize. Ashlyn helped stage our house and walked us through the process. She was delight to work with! We enjoyed her straight forward approach, upbeat personality and also really appreciated fast response times- be it phone, text or email. I'm struggling as to how to even start this review because Ashlyn literally changed how I viewed real estate agents. She was not just a real estate agent, she was an estate expert, renovation guru, professional advice giver, and even a therapist. My situation was unique in that it was a family house that had been in the family for almost 100 years and had the STUFF in it to prove it! She helped me from DAY ONE and not once did she make me feel overwhelmed or stressed. She was the perfect liaison between myself and the MANY people we had help on the house.
